PS Plus October 2026 Lineup Confirmed, Includes Newest Mafia Game

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog includes the return of Guerrilla Games' Horizon sequel

On Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in October. The latest Mafia game, Horizon Forbidden West, and more will be available starting Oct. 20.

Mafia: The Old Country is a prequel set in early 1900s Sicily and inspired by the origins of the Sicilian Mafia. Play as Enzo Favara, who becomes entangled with the Torrisi crime family. While there's plenty of crime to do and people to shoot, Mafia: The Old Country also address real-world labor issues and poverty that affected Italians in the early 20th century. "Mafia: The Old Country is a sobering reminder that tough times still create a breeding ground for exploitation today, just as they did in Sicily," Polygon's Giovanni Colantonio (a proud Italian) wrote in his 2025 review.

New Game Catalog games have staggered dates for when they're added. Mafia: The Old Country will be available on Oct. 20 for US subscribers, and most of the new games will join it next week. Here's everything new to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in Oct. 2026 and when US players can check them out:

PlayStation Plus' Game Catalog of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games is available to those who subscribe to its higher tiers, above Essential. It's Sony's answer to Xbox Game Pass, offering hundreds of games for subscribers to download and check out.

October's 2026's PS Plus Essential games are also available to download and include the racing game F1 25 .
