Play-Doh Reveals Its First Romantasy Crossover for ACOTAR Fans

The new A Court of Thorns and Roses book was just released last week and there's already been a ton of new merchandise attached to it. There's plushies, puzzles, necklaces, and even board games now available for ACOTAR fans in 2026. And now even Play-Doh is getting in on the romantasy bandwagon with a new Blooms bouquet kit.

The Play-Doh Blooms A Court of Throns and Roses kit is up for preorder now at Amazon for $49.99 and will release on January 15, 2026. The kit includes a book vase and a Truth-teller dagger.

If you're wondering why Play-Doh is suddenly making kids for adults, the answer is pretty simple: Adults are buying more toys than ever. Hasbro announced the new line of adult-focused Play-Doh back in July.

“The Play-Doh brand has always been about the limitless possibilities of imagination. That feeling doesn’t fade as you grow up, it evolves,” said Brian Baker, Senior Vice President at Hasbro. “Blooms by Play-Doh serves that need, offering a more elevated, hands-on way to slow down, get lost in the process and create something beautiful you can enjoy long after you’ve made it."

The idea of adult-focused flower kits isn't new. LEGO has had its very successful Botanicals line of builds for years now and they are consistently some of the most popular sets for adults . The Play-Doh version of this concept is a little less straightforward than a package of bricks, but offers a softer look that looks a bit more organic up close.
