Physint Star Suggests It’ll Have Even More Cutscenes Than Death Stranding

Physint star Bill Skarsgård has shared some more information about the game and suggested that it’ll have around eight hours of cutscenes like Hideo Kojima's other work.

Even before everything that’s happened with Physint over the past few months, it seemed like Hideo Kojima’s spiritual successor to Metal Gear Solid was a very long ways off. That feeling has only been cemented with the sudden turn over from PlayStation to Xbox, with Kojima even recently confirming that he hadn’t settled on a game engine.

That’s not even taking into account that Kojima Productions is also currently working on OD, which has only had a few trailers.

As likely as it is that Physint won’t be with us until the next console generation at the very earliest, there have been some signs that it’s moving along somewhat steadily. The lead actors for the game were recently confirmed after much speculation, and one of them, Bill Skarsgård, has seemingly given us an idea of how many cutscenes to expect.

As pointed out by Twitter user PowerUpGamingUK, Bill Skarsgård recently appeared on an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz. While Skarsgård was mostly there to talk about The Mosquito Bowl, he did take the chance to talk about his work with Hideo Kojima on Physint, noting that he played all of the Metal Gear Solid games back in the day.

Skarsgård goes on to say that he asked Kojima directly about whether he’d want to direct a film, and concluded that he’s more interested in creating a new medium.
