Phantom Blade Zero Already Hits Massive Milestone

Phantom Blade Zero is still three days away from launch at the time of writing, but it's already passed an impressive milestone. Right now, Phantom Blade Zero has made its way onto Steam's Global Top Sellers list, climbing all the way up to the number two spot.

First teased all the way back in 2016 and then officially announced in the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase, Phantom Blade Zero is a third-person action-RPG being developed and published by Chinese studio S-Game. While Phantom Blade Zero is implementing some Soulslike and Metroidvania features into its level design, the game delivers a wholly unique type of action combat that puts Wuxia-inspired style at the forefront.

Here's how long it'll take players to beat Phantom Blade Zero, including the list of chapters that you'll be playing through.

At the time of writing, Phantom Blade Zero is at the number two spot on the Steam Global Top Sellers chart, coming just behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. In the second position, Phantom Blade Zero is currently beating out Cyberpunk 2077, which just got a sizable sales boost thanks to its free 2.5 update, as well as the free-to-play games Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, AION 2, and PUBG: Battlegrounds.

There are no official details on how many copies Phantom Blade Zero has sold so far on Steam or on PlayStation 5, but a recent report from Alinea Analytics claims that as of October 21, Phantom Blade Zero has sold over 500,000 copies on Steam alone.
