PC Gamers Can Claim a 2021 Multiplayer Game for Free on October 14 and Keep It Forever

PC gamers have plenty of ways to pick up free games, but some giveaways require a little more attention than simply opening Steam or the Epic Games Store on a Thursday. Epic Games Store has its own weekly giveaways, Steam occasionally offers free-to-keep games or free weekend games, and other promotions can appear with specific claim windows that are easy to miss. Another one of those giveaways is coming in October, giving PC gamers a chance to add a multiplayer game to their libraries for free.

This particular promotion is being hosted through the Legion Gaming Community's Game Key Drops, which periodically gives away PC games through limited-time events. The upcoming giveaway will begin at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET on October 14, lasting until Steam keys run out, and players will need a few accounts ready before it starts. A Legion Gaming Community account, an unlimited Steam account, and a Twitch account are required to participate, but once those are all interconnected, it's pretty smooth sailing from there.

September 2026 continues to hand out free games to keep, courtesy of Steam, Amazon Prime Gaming (Amazon Luna), Epic Games, and more.

The game in question is Buissons , a 2021 multiplayer hide-and-seek game where players take control of bushes and attempt to outsmart their friends. The game supports up to four players, with the main idea revolving around moving at night while using the daytime to observe opponents and set traps using the environment. The result is a deliberately silly game built around hiding, watching other players, and trying to catch them off guard.
