OOC: The Playable Anime is going all out for Halloween this year, not only as a reward to its existing players, but to try and get as many of you to give OOC a try as possible. The platform gives you the tools to tell your own story where you’re the star, and it’s making that prospect even more enticing via extras and rewards just in time for spooky season.

From October 25 to November 8, 2026, OOC users will receive two types of rewards to help them celebrate Halloween. The first, and most appealing, is seven free story responses, running from October 29 until November 8, in each eligible OOC original. You can try as many eligible stories as you like in OOC, and the seven free responses can be used on any original you haven’t interacted with before the event begins on October 25.

Elsewhere during OOC’s Halloween event, users can receive double check-in rewards from October 25-31. Even if you don’t make any purchases, you will still get twice as many daily rewards as usual during the promotion for simply logging in.

For those of you unfamiliar with OOC who are only hearing about the platform for the first time thanks to its upcoming Halloween event, OOC stands for Out Of Character. That’s because in these stories, you’re not becoming the main character - you are the main character.

Not only are you each story’s lead, but you dictate the course of the narrative. In OOC, the stories you experience and the paths you take are unique to you, with your experience based on the decisions you make and the interactions you have with the characters and the worlds in which they reside.
