Now, in the final stretch of the story, these Gods are even more important and are playing significant roles in various arcs, fighting and showcasing their immense abilities as well. As One Piece heads deeper into the Final Saga, the role of these Gods is going to grow even further, and that's something that we are eagerly waiting to see in the months and years to come.

The most basic Gods that exist in the world of One Piece are the Celestial Dragons. The current Celestial Dragons are the descendants of the creators of the world, and they are believed to be Gods by those living on the Blue Sea. The Celestial Dragons do whatever they want, and all the others have to simply do their bidding because they are the descendants of the Gods, and thus the Gods themselves.

No one in the world of One Piece is allowed to question them, but of course there are pirates and other individuals, such as the members of the Revolutionary Army, who rebel against them. The Celestial Dragons are not truly Gods, but they hold the title of Gods and are treated as such in the One Piece world.
