Buyers looking to get a popular Nintendo Switch 2 console are in luck, as Target and Best Buy confirmed that restocks of The Legend of Zelda: 40th Anniversary Edition bundle are planned throughout the first week of November. However, interested Switch 2 shoppers will likely have to act fast before the planned Legend of Zelda edition restocks sell out.
November is an important time for the Zelda franchise, as Nintendo prepares to launch a Switch 2 exclusive remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Though the story and main premise will be similar to the original 1998 release on the N64, the Ocarina of Time remake will make some key changes and offer some new features for players to experience. Aside from updated graphics and movement, Ocarina of Time will include features like the Threads of Time as a way to track progress and compatibility with Zelda Notes.
Owners of 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2 consoles should take one short but crucial step before starting to use their new handhelds.
To go with the launch window of Ocarina of Time , Nintendo also released a special Switch 2 console on October 29 that was adorned with the Triforce and other homages to the Zelda series. While restocks are currently sold out across the board, both Target and Best Buy confirmed that new shipments are on the way. Target stated that its restocks of the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 system would be available on November 5 in stores and November 6 online, though the retailer did not reveal how much inventory it would have.
