New Pokemon LEGO Release Leaked

Pokemon will be getting LEGO blind boxes, according to a new leak online. After years of working with MEGA Bloks to release Pokemon building sets, the franchise pivoted to a partnership with LEGO at the start of 2026. In less than a year, several sets have been offered, with designs based on some of the most popular Pokemon and their Trainers, as well as deeper cuts spanning three decades of video games.

So far, LEGO has been quiet about Pokemon products planned for release next year. Pokemon Winds and Waves arrive in 2027, kicking off a new era for the franchise. This will mark the tenth Pokemon generation and the first time that a pair of mainline games have been released exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. A firm release date has not been confirmed, but The Pokemon Company tends to release mainline games in the months of October or November. If the same holds true for Pokemon Winds and Waves, fans might not see the first LEGO sets based on the games until sometime in 2028.

The Pokemon Company announces a new official release for October 29, which should make some franchise fans in particular pretty happy.
