New Open-World Game Launches to 4.8/5 Positive Reviews on PS5

BeamNG.drive has officially launched on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, quickly amassing thousands of user reviews and an average score of 4.8 out of 5. Developed by BeamNG, the game is an open-world automobile simulator that has enjoyed tremendous success on PC for more than a decade before finally arriving on PlayStation 5 on October 19.

On Steam, BeamNG.drive holds the rare "Overwhelmingly Positive" user score from more than 420,000 ratings at the time of publication. That success has clearly carried over to its PlayStation 5 port, which has received more than 7,000 user reviews on the PS Store at the time of writing, roughly a day after its launch.

A well-known co-op tactical shooter on PC is now also available on PlayStation 5, where it has already received very positive user reviews.

Developer BeamNG has equipped the game's PS5 port with a couple of new features that have apparently appealed to console players. The biggest change is the newly added split-screen multiplayer, which supports up to four players. In addition, BeamNG.drive now features an overhauled introductory mission called "First Drive," designed to help newcomers get the hang of this realistic car simulator more easily. Moreover, the UI has been redesigned to make the complex menus more accessible to beginners.

It is no secret that many car-enthusiast PlayStation 5 users are awaiting Forza Horizon 6. Although Micros

drive is an incredibly realistic driving game with near-limitless possibilities. Our soft-body physics engine simulates every component of a vehicle in real time, resulting in true-to-life behavior.
