New Official Warrior Cats Release Confirmed for October 23

The Warrior Cats franchise (aka Warriors) is set to have a brand-new release in the very near future. The Warrior Cats franchise started all the way back in 2003 with the release of Warriors: Into the Wild, and it's been going strong ever since. New Warrior Cats books continue to be released on a regular basis, with the current story arc, "Changing Skies," already having seen four releases, with Book 4, Guiding Light, hitting store shelves earlier this month.

For those who may be unfamiliar with the franchise, Warrior Cats is a fantasy series about feral cats and their adventures. The cats are split up into different Clans, with the books chronicling the conflicts between the Clans and outside forces. It's a unique premise that has appealed greatly to children and young adults, selling over 90 million copies worldwide so far. With such a massive fanbase, it's no surprise that there are still new Warriors books being released like Guiding Light, and it's also not surprising that the franchise has branched out into other media as well.

A new PlayStation 5 game looks like it will offer gamers some co-op fun similar to that of It Takes Two, but as cats instead of people.

The release of Warriors: Guiding Light would be enough to make October an exciting one for fans of the franchise, but there's even more to look forward to in the near future. The first major Warrior Cats video game is set to launch on October 23 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
