New Official Cyberpunk Release Confirmed for Spring 2027

Cyberpunk 2077 is suddenly making a huge comeback in 2026 between the release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 and the new 2.5 update for the game. However, fans have even more to look forward to in 2027, with the confirmation of a new Cyberpunk release coming early next year. The world of Night City is quickly expanding, and Cyberpunk 2077 is offering fans a new way to interact with the franchise.

Although Cyberpunk 2 is still likely a way off with CD Projekt Red busy with development of The Witcher 4, there is still plenty of new Cyberpunk 2077 content rolling out for players to enjoy. Aside from the new season of Edgerunners, Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.5 is bringing new features like console mod support and new side quests to the game. Cyberpunk 2077 still has a bright future ahead of it while fans await the game's sequel, and a brand-new physical release is just around the corner.

The official Cyberpunk 2077 trading card game has officially confirmed its second set just weeks before the TCG's full retail launch on November 6. With Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 now available on Netflix , developer WeirdCo has unveiled the first images of new cards themed after the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, including iconic characters from the show's first season. Featured in this first look at the Edgerunners: Burn Bright set are cards based on members of David's crew, like Maine, Falco, Lucy, and Rebecca.
