Grand Theft Auto 6's exclusive previews for select creators and outlets have confirmed that the game will feature a Pokemon-esque system. Before the Extended Look trailer, Rockstar Games invited a select few to its studio in Scotland for a special showcase, and these previews have revealed many more details about Grand Theft Auto 6.
The Extended Look turned out to be exactly what fans have wanted since the release of the first two GTA 6 trailers. It offered over 20 minutes of action mixed with interesting cutscenes and confirmed several features fans were hoping to see. That said, some of the more interesting details came from people who got to watch Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, play GTA 6 for a couple of hours.
The special GTA 6: An Extended Look showcase on Netflix revealed a lot of new info about the upcoming game, including its impressive Vice City map.
Spanish content creator El Rubius, better known as elrubiusOMG, was among those invited to Rockstar North for an exclusive GTA 6 preview, where he learned that the game will feature such extensive wildlife that players will have a Pokedex-like log to track the animals they encounter. Rubius said, "There were more dogs, animals everywhere. There are a lot of animals in this game… But one thing [Rob Nelson] told me is that there would be some kind of bestiary or Pokedex where you could register all the animals you come across."
