New GTA 6 Gameplay Revealed Inside South Park Confirms Dog Poop Is A Weapon

Grand Theft Auto 6 footage is trickling out as we get closer to the game’s November 19 release date. The latest clip comes not from a new trailer or social media post, but instead from an episode of South Park, or South America as it has been rebranded in its 29th season. What did we learn in this new clip? Dog shit is a perfectly legitimate weapon in Rockstar’s open-world crime drama.

The cross promotion was a surprise to viewers who tuned into Comedy Central to watch the episode “Guinea Pig on a Stick,” which features about 25 seconds of new footage, and the most revelatory thing it shows off is that dogs in the game can take actual dumps and, if the player feels so inclined, they can pick up the dog’s droppings and throw them at people in a fight.

Your horses could poop in Red Dead Redemption 2, so it’s not too surprising that dogs in Vice City might also have to relieve themselves. The surprising thing is that GTA6 just made an appearance in a South Park episode without any pre-episode hype. Though we only saw shit gameplay this time around, the South Park boys are all blown away by what they saw. Rockstar gets a special thanks at the end of the episode.

How much do you think the dog poop models account for GTA6 ’s 210 GB install size ? I suppose that depends on how lovingly rendered the excrement is. Sorry to whoever at Rockstar had to spend their days sculpting dog poop.
