New Fortnite Item Makes Everything on the Item Shop Completely Free

Fortnite Treasure Hunters is here at last. This season is all about pirates and plundering treasure. Players can look the part using the Straw Hat Pirates skins from One Piece. It can get expensive to purchase cosmetics in Fortnite, but this season, there's an in-game item that makes everything in the Item Shop free. It almost sounds too good to be true, but it's real, and it's out there on the Battle Royale island.

One Piece was the perfect crossover for this year's mini-season, as Fortnite Treasure Hunters is all about anime and pirates. The Battle Pass features Ace and Robin, but there are more skins to collect in the Item Shop. The first released bundle includes Luffy, Nami, and Usopp, and it costs 4,000 V-Bucks, about $30. It's already quite expensive, and the number of One Piece skins in the shop will only grow as the season continues. Thankfully, Epic Games has introduced the Pirate Shop Access token, an item that grants players everything in the shop for free.

This season, there are Treasure-Hunt chests in Fortnite . These special loot containers grant a free gizmo, a cosmetic item, or a token. The Pirate Shop Access token is a rare reward that can be found in these chests. If players are lucky enough to get it, the entire team will be able to plunder the Item Shop for two weeks, meaning that during this window of time, they can claim every item for free. This means they can get the One Piece bundle and any other skin, emote, or jam track in the shop.
