New Co-Op Pirate Game Lets You Build and Sail LEGO Ships

An upcoming co-op Steam game called Sink My Bricks! lets up to four players form a pirate gang, build their own brick-made warships, and set sail to battle other ships. Another interesting feature in Sink My Bricks! that could distinguish it from similar Steam games is that its entire world is made of breakable LEGO-style bricks.

Developer Sleepy Amigos says, "The islands, the ships, and even the sea are built from bricks, and all of it can be destroyed." Sink My Bricks! also takes a fun approach to health bars that is not exactly common in friendslop games. Since everything, including the players, is made of bricks, losing limbs is not the end of the world. Players can keep fighting and sailing even with missing limbs and can even try to replace lost parts with other random pieces.

A new game on Steam looks to be an exciting mix of Sea of Thieves and the soulslike genre, offering six player co-op and brutal boss battles.

As an action-roguelike game , Sink My Bricks! requires players to complete approximately one-hour runs across three procedurally generated archipelagos. Each section has its own boss fight, with an ultimate challenge awaiting pirates at the end. As players complete more runs, they unlock new weapons, ship components, and upgrades, while the biomes become increasingly harsh and enemies grow stronger. According to the developer, a run might end when the ship is destroyed, as players can respawn only when their warship remains intact and continues to sail.
