New $1,105 Warcraft Release Officially Announced for 2027

Blizzard has officially announced a brand-new Warcraft release that launches in early 2027, arriving with a massive $1,105 price tag. This means not everyone will be able to pick up this new Warcraft release, which could leave many disappointed.

The Warcraft franchise has stood the test of time across multiple genres, from its early RTS roots in the 1990s to the gargantuan popularity of MMO World of Warcraft. By any metric, WoW is one of the most successful games ever, setting the standard for MMOs for years after its release. A new release in the series is always something to look forward to, and it's great to see how it continues to thrive after over three decades.

World of Warcraft has remained a PC exclusive for over 20 years, but Blizzard's latest comments suggest that could eventually change.

Available via Sideshow Collectibles, Bolt Production has opened pre-orders for its new 1/5 scale Rexxar and Misha statue, which is based on the duo's appearance in World of Warcraft. The piece is limited to just 300 units worldwide, which is why it comes with an eye-watering $1,105 price tag. It's expected to release between April and June 2027, so fans won't have to wait long to add the pair to their collection. The statue stands at 23 inches tall, so it's going to stand out and make an impression in just about any display.

The price tag isn't entirely down to its exclusivity. It features a remarkable level of detail in the sculpting and paintwork, depicting multiple difficult textures including fur, leather, and bone armor.
