After resisting politically charged renaming efforts, it’s now giving users a way to see surveillance cameras.

The new Surveillance Layer reveals Flock cameras, as well as similar solutions from multiple other brands.

MapQuest was great at helping us getting around… 20 years ago, before Google Maps arrived, anyway. And just like so many other turn-of-the-century dot coms, it quickly found itself fading into the background.
