Last Chance to Save $10 on Nintendo Switch Sports Resort

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is a colorful multiplayer game that has you compete in 12 different sports using motion controls. It comes out exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 tomorrow, October 22.

If you want to save $10 on a physical copy, today may be your last chance. That’s because both Amazon and Walmart are offering preorder discounts that drop the price of the physical edition down to the price of the digital edition.

If you’re interested in the game, you should buy it today for $49.94 instead of the standard $59.99 that it will likely go back up to tomorrow once the game releases.

Alternatively, if you don’t own a Switch 2 yet, you can pick up the Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle for $529.99 at Amazon, which saves you $20 off buying the items separately. Note that this bundle includes a digital copy of the game rather than a physical one. But it also comes with a three-month individual membership to Nintendo Switch Online.

So what is Nintendo Switch Sports Resort? It’s a cartoonish game aimed at multiplayer sessions, either local or online. Up to four players can play the games locally.

The conceit of the game is that you and your friends are on an island getaway at the Spocco Resort. The idea is to compete in 12 different sports, all of which use motion controls via Joy-Con 2. This means you’ll likely have to get up off the couch and swing the controllers around to do things like hit the ball in a tennis match or swing a golf club.
