The Golden Joysticks Awards 2026 nominees have been announced, and the Most Wanted category is incredibly stacked with big games, notably including Kingdom Hearts 4, Persona 6 and The Witcher 4.

2026 may end up being one of the most important years for gaming as a whole thanks to Grand Theft Auto 6 and a ton of other massive releases, but there’s still a ton of games to look forward to once we’ve all had our time in Leonida. Even with plenty of room in the second half of the year, 2027 is already shaping up to be incredibly stacked, as is 2028.

I won’t even try to hide my bias by saying that Kingdom Hearts 4 is easily one of the most exciting games on the horizon, but it’s in very good company with games like Resident Evil Veronica, God of War Laufey, and many more. If you want proof, look no further than the Golden Joystick Awards’ jam-packed Most Wanted category.

Earlier today, the Golden Joystick Awards 2026 nominees were confirmed and put up for voting on GamesRadar+, with gamers now able to vote on a number of categories. Perhaps the most exciting award of them all is Most Wanted, which will crown one upcoming game as the most anticipated of the bunch.

The latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 might be short, but it’s absolutely packed with easy to miss details.
