Jujutsu Kaisen Creator Gege Confirms Two New Sorcerers Stronger Than Sukuna

The world of Jujutsu Kaisen is filled with several powerful sorcerers that Gege Akutami has illustrated over the years, and the one who stands atop them all is the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Born in the Heian era, Ryomen Sukuna was known to be a calamity whose strength was such that it transcended time itself. In the original Jujutsu Kaisen series, Sukuna established himself as the primary antagonist to take down, and it is his fall that finally paved the way for the ending of the series.

While Ryomen Sukuna was incredibly strong in the original Jujutsu Kaisen series, Gege Akutami, the creator of the series, has now taken a completely different direction as his world expands even further. In the latest Gege release, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, two new sorcerers have stepped up who surpass Ryomen Sukuna in strength dramatically. They are none other than Yuji Itadori, the one who wields Sukuna's power and has taken it to a completely new level, as well as the Simurian, Dabura Karaba.

Yuji Itadori was always tipped to surpass Ryomen Sukuna in terms of overall power, and this is because he wielded the same potential as Sukuna himself. In the original Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji was made the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna. In fact, Yuji was birthed specifically to be made Sukuna's vessel, and as such was bathed in Sukuna's Cursed Energy for quite a long time.
