The Scope of Authority Warbond in Helldivers 2 is heavily themed around battlefield snipers. Not only does it have armor with adaptive ghillie suits, but it introduces three different flavors of sniper rifle as well as a submachine gun that goes to your secondary slot. It might not be the most well-rounded of Warbonds in Helldivers 2, but it offers a very specific fantasy that some players will surely love for the vibe alone. Here's every important and practical item you can expect to get from Scope of Authority.
Here's a preview (and brief insights) on every item you can find in Helldivers 2's Ironclad Democracy Warbond.
The R-40 Sightliner is the first bolt-action sniper rifle in Helldivers 2. It competes with the likes of the Deadeye from the Frontier Justice Warbond, and has all the issues you'd expect a bolt-action sniper rifle to have in a horde shooter, it does have one important silver lining: this weapon can penetrate heavy armor.
Automaton Hulks and Terminid Bile Spewers are the main targets that a Sightliner user should be targeting. The former dies to two hits to the eye, while the latter can be taken out with a single hit to the face. The Sightliner's low fire rate and lack ofa third-person aiming reticle makes it unwieldy against large groups of enemies in close range, though, so you'll need to bring a good backup weapon if you plan on using this.
When thrown, the G-11 Caltrops scatters submunitions that slows, stuns, and deals very minor damage to enemies .
