IDW Promises Epic Kaiju Destruction in Godzilla Versus Everything Crossover - Fall FanFest 2026

IDW has been busy establishing an ambitious new Godzilla line with the Kai-Sei Universe, which kicked off in 2025. Now, IGN can exclusively reveal that the Kai-Sei line will experience its first major crossover event in 2027.

The crossover in question is dubbed Godzilla Versus Everything. This four-issue miniseries sees Godzilla achieve his newest and most powerful form, forcing the casts of the flagship Godzilla comic, The Deadzone, Starship Godzilla, and The Horror of Godzilla to band together to save humanity.

Godzilla Versus Everything is written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Fero Pe. Here's the official description for the series:

"When I started work with editor Jake Williams and IDW on GODZILLA, the big pitch was this was going to play like a universe of titles, but also as a universe of characters,” said Seeley in a statement. “From the beginning, the goal was they'd all come together at some point as friends and/or enemies in a proper comic universe event title. Well, we're here, and all the meticulous plotting of our creative crew leads to a wild, weird, terrifying crossover comic that puts Godzilla, the kaiju and our cast through every epic story beat you've ever wanted."

Godzilla Versus Everything #1 will debut in March 2027. Fans can also look forward to a lead-in to the crossover in March's Godzilla #17, which will be the final issue of the series. The buildup begins this month in Starship Godzilla: Invasion X #1, Godzilla: Revenge of the Deadzone #1, and Godzilla #13.
