The Dark Continent is a mysterious place in the Hunter x Hunter world. Its size far surpasses that of the known human world, and its borders host dangerous creatures that far surpass even human understanding.

Because of the dangerous nature of the Dark Continent, most haven’t, and will never, set foot there. However, a few special characters have gone and explored its depths. This includes powerful hunters like Isaac Netero, but also beings straight from the Dark Continent itself, like Nanika. This mysterious place holds all the secrets of the HxH world, and we can't wait for it all to fully unravel after the Succession Contest arc.

In the world of Hunter x Hunter, the Dark Continent is a place most humans have never set foot in. Even among the Hunters, exploring the Dark Continent is simply too dangerous and hard a task to undertake. This, however, didn't stop Linne Horsdoeuvre from heading alongside Isaac and Zigg to the Dark Continent on an expedition.

Linne Horsdoeuvre is currently the oldest member of the Hunter Association. She has lived to be old despite having set foot on the Dark Continent. In her youth, she was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Sadly, we have no information about her Nen ability or what she's really capable of. She was clearly a Hunter of the same level as Zigg Zoldyck and Isaac Netero, and among the strongest characters of her time. To even be approved to travel alongside these legends, her strength in her prime should have been immeasurable.
