How to Pioneer Auronui Island in Crimson Desert

Your first mission on the ocean with your new ship in Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown is to pioneer Auronui Island, but doing so isn't as simple as the other dispatch missions. If you're struggling to dispatch your crew or complete the mission once it reaches 100%, then look no further than this guide.

Crimson Desert: Chartering the Unknown DLC has added ships and ocean exploration! Here are all the ships you can get, what they do, and where.

The first thing you must do is head to Hopkins, the Ship Manager, and return/retrieve your ship. Now, enter the Manage Crew tab and bring 5 Deckhands. You will not be able to dispatch workers to missions without Deckhands, as the system works differently from the shores.

Once you have 5 Deckhands, set sail for Auronui Island and steer the boat into the red circle as shown on the map above. Once both you and your ship are in the circle, press Triangle/Y to select Auronui Island, then select the Anchor to select any 3 Comrades. This will last 12 in-game hours, but at this point, you can leave the island and skip time with sleep.

Once Pioneer Auronui Island is at 100%, click the Anchorage on the map and press X/A to Complete Mission while standing within the red circle on the dock. This will complete the mission and start a cutscene that will allow you to progress through the DLC.

A dark detective thriller where folklore is real, violence is chilling, and every choice has consequences.
