How to Improve Animal Welfare in Planet Zoo 2

Making a good habitat for your zoo animals in Planet Zoo 2 means not only placing the habitat and making it big enough, but also making sure it has what it needs to make your animals happy. Happy animals mean happy guests too, which will make more money for your zoo so you can keep expanding. Animals need the correct environment, social aspects, and enrichment to be well taken care of, so here's what to do.

Discover all 130+ animals you can collect in Planet Zoo 2 with this alphabetical animal list.

Every animal has stats that can be shown in their Overview Menu that will tell you how happy they are with their surroundings. This includes things like their social group, the plants in their habitat, access to water and shelter, and enrichment.

Click the arrows to expand the menu to show all the things that go into these different categories. At 100% welfare, an animal is thriving, and you can get a higher husbandry rating and higher donations up to 20%. We'll go over all these things to show how you can see the current status and what you can do to fix it.

In Planet Zoo 2, you can click the guests, staff, habitats, and animals to get different information. To check on how an animal is doing in their exhibit or habitat, click on them inside their enclosure or use the Management > Animals tab to find an animal and select them.

Once you have one ready, there will be a menu that pops up about the animal.
