Tuning Points are the main currency of Star Wars Galactic Racer, and they're used to purchase permanent upgrades for your vehicle in the Campaign. Even if you lose a tour, the upgrades you've used with Tuning Points will stay! Below, we'll share the best ways to get Tuning Points and how you can spend them, as you can't just spend them at any time!
Looking for the ultimate vehicle to use in Star Wars Galactic Racer? Find out how each vehicle works, which is the best, and how to get it.
There are only three ways to earn Tuning Points in Star Wars Galactic Racer:
Eliminator is the event category with the skull icon on your roadmap, so make sure you're selecting those when they're available, as they will reward the fastest source of Tuning Points.
Races will reward just +1 Tuning Point, but they're far safer than the Eliminator round.
Scenarios are a tad longer, as you have 5 races to complete with an Eliminator finale that you must win. These are riskier to beat, but the good news is that failing them doesn't impact your Campaign, as it's a separate mode.
Tuning Points can only be spent after you get knocked out of the Campaign. Tuning Points are spent on permanently upgrading your vehicle. Any upgrades you purchase at the shop with Credits will be reset at the end of a tour, but your Tuning Points will remain as permanent unlocks that can only be spent during the Vehicle Select screen of a new tour .
