How To Get The Biggoron Sword In Ocarina Of Time Remake

There's quite a lot to find in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. From all the Pieces of Heart to the different items you'll use in dungeons to just the ammo capacity upgrades for your gear, you will always be on the lookout for something new. Perhaps the best and trickiest weapon to get in the game is the Biggoron Sword.

A massive, two-handed weapon that can only be completed through a lengthy side quest where you trade items across Hyrule. If you're looking to snag this item or just struggling to reach specific areas in time, here is how to fully complete the Biggoron Sword quest.

Before we get into the actual trading quest, there are a few prerequisites you need to accomplish before you can even attempt this. The first is Epona must be unlocked, as many sections in this quest are timed, and without your horse it's basically impossible to complete.

Make sure that you complete the Ice Cavern mini-dungeon in Zora Fountain. This will give you the Blue Fire, which you'll use to melt away the ice trapping King Zoro. He will give you the Zora Tunic for your troubles, allowing you to breathe underwater. Plus, you'll also have the Iron Boots, which is a nice bonus.

Finally, it's really worth completing the Fire Temple and learning the Bolero of Fire. We will be using a shortcut at the end, and it can only be accessed by finishing the dungeon. Just remember, during any of the timed sections, you cannot use the ocarina to teleport, so you'll have to go to those spots the old-fashioned way!
