The world of galactic racing is a dangerous one, with everything on the table if it means you (or an opponent can win a race). Not only are your fellow racers cutthroat, but the tracks themselves can be lethal, with sharp corners, blind turns, and environmental hazards all posing a threat to your vehicle. Faults can crop up if you're not careful in a race, and these can have a long-term negative impact on your vehicle's performance if you don't get them fixed. Here's how to fix faults and repair parts in Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
Win every podrace in style by knowing which podracer is leagues above the competition in Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
If you're a bit rough on the track, you might find that you've crashed into a wall or another racer and taken some damage. Other times, the abilities of other racers can deal damage and cause faults to your vehicle.
Faults can occur when you've sustained too much damage to your vehicle in one way or another. Faults affect different parts of your vehicle and are essentially an 'anti-buff'. For example, I picked one up that affected my 'Fuel Vortexer II' part called 'Leaky Tank'. This caused my Afterburner fuel to refill 200% slower until it was fixed.
From my time playing the game, the way you get a fault (in other words, the way you take damage) doesn't seem to determine the type of fault that you get. This appears to be entirely random, but if we find any evidence that suggests certain faults are caused through specific types of damage, I'll update this post and let you know.
