How to Find Ruto in Zelda Ocarina of Time (Remake)

If you want the Spiritual Stone of Water, you will need to find Ruto. Ruto is the daughter of King Zora, and this giant creature isn't going to move out of the way to the Zora Fountain unless his daughter has been found. Luckily for you, it's actually relatively simple. If you're struggling to find Ruto to move King Zora out of the way in the Ocarina of Time remake, then we've got you covered.

After completing the Dodongo's Cavern dungeon, it's time to start the next part of your quest for the Spiritual Stone of Water!

Enter Zora Domain and head up the stairs to the left to find the diving instructor. You must complete his challenge of diving to get the scales. Upon doing so, you will get the Silver Scale, which allows you to dive deeper, a necessary upgrade for finding Ruto.

Now that you can dive deeper, head into the main water chamber of Zora Domain and dive down through the door to reach Lake Hylia. Once you're in this new area, look down, and you will be able to dive to get a Bottle.

Return to shore and equip the Bottle from your inventory, then press ZR to read the message left inside, which reveals that Ruto has been eaten by Lord Jabu-Jabu!

Return to King Zora in Zora Domain, and when standing in front of him, press ZR to reveal the Bottle , which allows King Zora to read it and learn the truth.
