Hypno Devices are tools used to help with PR (Panic Reduction) management in Graveyard Keeper 2. You can buy one from Gunter at his shop in the Main Port after you liberate it from zombies, but before you can use it, you'll have to charge it at a Formulation Bench using Faith. Once charged, you can use Hypno Devices on the PR Machine to reduce panic and increase the number of sermon attendees in Graveyard Keeper 2 every time you hold one, netting you more Faith and money.

By default, Graveyard Keeper 2 doesn't run perfectly on Steam Deck and so you'll need to change some settings to get it running well.

Gunter sells Hypno Devices for 50 Copper after you liberate the Main Port and help him retrieve his deck of tarot cards from Linda, the proprietress of the nearby brothel. To finish Linda's requests, you'll need to rebuild a store in one of the nearby lots by crafting 4 Building Kits, 3 Wooden Kits, and 1 Iron Kit. After that, you'll need to get Linda some paint, either by crafting some yourself, or by buying one unit from the weekly ship merchants.

Merchants will come by ship once a week after you give 3 Lenses to the Manager at the Main Port.

After you finish all of Linda's requests, Gunter will reward you with some extra zombie helpers as thanks for your efforts. He'll also tell you that he will attend your next sermon. After finishing your next mass, Gunter will talk to you about how few the attendees are, saying that the increased number of zombies on your property is causing people to panic.
