How To Build A 5-Star Zoo In Planet Zoo 2

While having fun and building the zoo of your dreams is important in Planet Zoo 2, your ultimate in-game goal with each new zoo is to earn a 5-star reputation. Your reputation is always visible at the bottom of your screen, and changing it isn't as simple as adding a bunch of new animals and increasing ticket prices.

Your zoo's reputation is based on four unique factors you'll need to excel in to bring the overall rating up to five stars. The four different areas are Animal Husbandry, Sustainability, Guest Education, and Guest Experience.

Animal Husbandry, for those unfamiliar, revolves around the care of captive animals. This means that your animals need to be fed, happy, healthy, in habitats that meet their specific requirements, breeding, and ideally, thriving. You can view an animal's needs at any point by selecting the habitat itself or one of the animals in it to see what areas need improvement, if any.

Naturally, this isn't as simple as it seems. While it is easy enough to ensure a habitat meets the minimum requirements to keep an animal satisfied, which increases their welfare, you'll need to send vets to research each species and discover the requirements that will help it thrive.

Research can only be completed by vets in a Research Center , and each level of a species will generally unlock a new thriving requirement. So, you'll need to repeat this process with every species currently in your zoo and complete any unmet requirements to increase your Animal Husbandry rating.
