How t Get Poke Ball Vivillon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Pokemon is celebrating the release of Pokemon Legends: Z-A for the Nintendo Switch 2 by bringing Vivillon variants into the game through the Vivillon Challenge. During this challenge, each player will be able to get a special Vivillon via a gifted Spewpa. Here is everything you need to know about the challenge, including how to get your new Vivillon.

Vivillon has various colors depending on where it lives. With the Vivillon Challenge in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, the Vivillon you'll get is a random pattern of 16 options.

To get one of these, you need to claim your Mystery Gift Spewpa by November 18, 2026, at 5:59 p.m. PST. With your Switch connected to the internet, open the game, then press the X button to open the menu. Go to the Link Play option at the bottom of the left side.

On the right side of the Link Play menu, select Mystery Gift.

Here, you see three options. Select Get via Internet and wait for it to connect.

This will pull up a list of Mystery Gifts you are eligible to receive. Select Spewpa Gift.

After the animation, a Spewpa will be added to your boxes automatically.

Players will only receive one Spewpa as a gift per save data. You will need to have your account connected to a Nintendo Account (which doesn't require Nintendo Switch Online) to get the gift in your game.
