Silent Hill: Townfall is the latest entry from the beloved Silent Hill franchise, containing everything you know and love from these games, including a confused main character, mysterious secondary characters, grotesque monsters, and fog. Yes, lots of fog. In true horror fashion, Townfall wastes no time getting straight into things, which means the story is a bit shorter, but light on filler.

Aside from a few exceptions, most games in the Silent Hill franchise hover around the 10-hour mark, and Townfall is no exception. That being said, it's also expected that you will play through New Game+ to experience the full extent of the game, which helps extend overall play time.

If you have no desire to see what else is in store in New Game+, you'll only need to complete one run of Silent Hill: Townfall. For that, you'll be looking at about 10–12 hours of play time.However, keep in mind that New Game+ unlocks new content and is the only way to achieve certain endings.

The game is clearly designed with the assumption you will play it more than once, so it's recommended that you do for the full experience, even if you don't unlock every achievement. New Game+ runs can be completed in half the time, so you won't need to spend another 10 hours per New Game+ playthrough.

There are three primary endings and two joke endings, the latter of which are exclusive to New Game+. So, unless you're specifically looking for all the achievements or want to see those comedic endings, create manual saves on your initial playthrough to see the three primary endings.
