Calling all horror fans. Today IGN's Fall Fan Fest featured a new trailer for Jiaohun, a first-person psychological horror game set in a place in China called Fairy Town in Baishoi County, in 1999. Expect to encounter demons, secrets, and a nameless god among the abandoned buildings of the town.
The game references Chinese folktales and explores the concept of obsession through puzzles and exploration and is the work of developer 12AM Blackout. As well as hands with eyes, masked figures and unsettling imagery, players can enjoy encountering such mystical artifacts as… 1990's style pagers.
Jiaohun will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in 2027. You can wishlist the game on Steam now.
