GTA 6 Will Come To PC By May 2027, Analyst Claims

Gaming industry analyst Michael Pachter has claimed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will come to PC in “six or seven months”, which is a bit later than expected.

It’s a little tough to believe, but we’re less than a month away from the release of GTA 6, a game that most of us have been following for half a decade and dreaming about for even longer. To paraphrase Tom Petty, it’s been a very long road for everyone involved, and it’s honestly wild that the end is in sight after so many years.

As bad as the wait for GTA 6 has been, though, at least PS5 and Xbox Series players will actually be able to play it on November 19. Just like with every other Rockstar game, PC players have been left in the dark at launch and have to go even longer to lose their life to Leonida. Exactly how long is still unclear, but an analyst might have just given us a window.

As reported by Insider Gaming, gaming analyst Michael Pachter recently spoke to the BBC about how GTA 6 has caused a spike in PS5 sales. During that conversation, Pachter notably said that the still-unconfirmed PC port of GTA 6 will launch in “six or seven months”, which would mean by May of next year.

Sony is right - Grand Theft Auto 6 is probably going to play best on PlayStation.

Pachter’s specific release window is interesting considering GamesBeat very recently reported that the PC version of GTA 6 will launch in the first quarter of 2027, which would mean a release before the end of March.
