A proposal plan has been uncovered for Grand Theft Auto 6’s marketing that suggests Rockstar wants to give Miami a Vice City makeover for the game’s launch.
I don’t think there’s anyone out there who would disagree that GTA 6’s marketing has been pretty underwhelming so far. The biggest game in the world doesn’t exactly need a big push, but all we’ve gotten over the past few years are two trailers, an admittedly generous amount of screenshots, and far too many leaks.
That all changes later today as Netflix and Rockstar team up to finally debut an Extended Look at GTA 6 that will hopefully show us enough gameplay to forget about Cyberleek and the otherwise sparse rollout. If a newly discovered document is to be believed, though, Take-Two has some pretty interesting plans for the actual launch of GTA 6.
We’re just a few hours away from the Extended Look at GTA 6, but that hasn’t stopped news about the game from coming out ahead of the big show. Over on Twitter, reliable GTA insider videotech shared an alleged marketing proposal that Rockstar Games and Take-Two pitched to Miami-Dade County for the launch of GTA 6.
Sony is right - Grand Theft Auto 6 is probably going to play best on PlayStation.
The 11-page proposal pitch starts by suggesting that fans can “arrive in Vice City” with an “immersive arrival experience” in Miami International Airport that “establishes” the location as the inspiration behind Vice City.
