Grand Theft Auto 6 is just two months away, and although the game has suffered some "heartbreaking" leaks recently, Rockstar Games is slowly peeling back the curtain on the year's most anticipated release. Now, a new deep dive has revealed that a feature from San Andreas is returning--and it sounds better than ever.
In Dazed magazine's Autumn 2026 Issue, some key figures from the Rockstar Games team opened up about what you can expect when GTA 6 hits PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19. Alongside talking about how the characters are more believable and what it's like switching between protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the developers expressed that you will really want to watch the characters' physical appearance.
GTA 6 will see the return of some "interactive systems" that change the way Jason and Lucia look. If you eat too much? Both characters will put on weight. If you exercise? Both characters will gain muscle. And if you get little to no sleep? Well, let's just say you'll need more than under-eye masks to refresh both characters' skin.
Basically, anything you do in GTA 6 will affect the world of Leonida, as well as the appearance of both Jason and Lucia.
This is reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas . If you didn't take care of protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson by exercising regularly and reducing the amount of Cluckin' Bell he eats, then CJ would become overweight, have less stamina, hold weapons differently, and be unable to start certain missions.
