GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, and More Are Being Removed from the PS Plus Game Catalog

A bunch of games, including GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, are about to be pulled from the PlayStation Plus' catalog.

Next month, players will be losing some games that have been included with their PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscription. These are games that are currently available through Sony's Game Pass-like catalog of titles, so you're not being stripped of any games you own or are entitled to. However, if you've been waiting to play GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2, you should move quickly, as those games amongst others will be removed from the service starting on November 17.

Of course, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are being removed just two days before the launch of GTA 6. This is as good a time as any to catch up or revisit these titles if you're trying to build some extra hype for Rockstar's latest game. If you're not interested in an open world experience, The Talos Principle 2 is a fantastic first-person puzzle title that is absolutely worth playing before it leaves the service.

If you don't manage to play these games by November 17, they will become unplayable, even if they are downloaded to your machine, unless you purchase them. So, act quickly! If you do miss these titles, PlayStation recently added a bunch of other great games available through the service, including Mafia: The Old Country and Horizon Forbidden West.
