Google is working on a simpler, faster way to use Gmail’s ‘Help Me Write’ feature

TL;DR Google is working to make Gmail’s “Help Me Write” feature easier to access and use.

When composing a new email, Gmail could start showing a “Describe your message” prompt box by default.

It could also let users switch between generated drafts with dedicated undo and redo buttons.

Since it first launched the “Help Me Write” feature in Gmail, Google has steadily improved it to make drafts easier to edit , adapt to the way you normally write, and even scan your Drive files and previous emails for relevant context. However, using it still involves several steps, introducing unnecessary friction. Now, it seems Google is finally working to fix that.
