A new season means new changes, and Fortnite Treasure Hunters has completely removed Gold Bars! Don't worry, that doesn't mean you can't make purchases from vendors, as everything's now free. If you're wondering why you're not getting any Gold from loot, then fear not; we'll explain what's happening below.

Treasure Chests can be found across Fortnite Treasure Hunters' map, and they have a small chance to drop a free cosmetic reward!

Gold Bars have been removed from Fortnite Chapter 7 Mini-Season 1 ( Treasure Hunters ), which is rather ironic considering it's a pirate-themed season focused on loot and plunder! Regardless, you won't need Gold Bars in this season, as everything from Vendors is entirely free !

You will no longer get Gold from Chests, Vaults, and other sources, as it's not in the game, nor is it a bug.
