Genshin Impact version 7.2 release time in your time zone

Genshin Impact's 7.2 patch is coming soon, expanding the story in Snezhnaya, adding more characters to the playable roster, and running a slew of limited-time events to bide your time.

Below, we explain when Genshin Impact maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 7.2. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Genshin Impact version 7.2.

Genshin Impact will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, Nov. 3 or Wednesday, Nov. 4 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:

Make sure to burn your resin before maintenance starts, if you want to, but remember the new battle pass will start once the patch goes live, so you may want to hold on to some of it.

Genshin Impact should come back from maintenance with the 7.2 version at the following times:

The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 7.2 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!

The Snezhnaya quest line continues and the world of Teyvat seems to be ... evaporating? It appears that there'll be a big meeting of the strongest leaders from each region to help solve this crisis. This patch will also see the debut of the Electro four-star Valeriy and the Electro five-star Mitya.

There'll also be the usual slew of events to earn Primogems, crowns, and other upgrade materials, so make sure to check those out so you don't lose out on potential resources.
