Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show "most international yet", attracting nearly 220,000 visitors from 113 countries

More than half of the 6,923 business area visitors were from outside Thailand

Organisers described this year's Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show as the "most international edition" to date, with 219,546 attendees from 113 countries.

The four-day show took place from October 29 to November 1 at Bangkok's Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, occupying 38,519 sqm of event space.

The first two days focused on the business area, attracting 6,923 visitors from 78 countries, a 24% increase from 5,590 in 2025. More than half of these visitors were from outside Thailand.

The conference featured 81 speakers from 27 countries across four stages, headlined by id Software co-founder John Romero. The Xsolla-sponsored Invest Circle and VIP XPerience connected 509 developers, publishers, and investors, up from 418 last year.

This year’s event hosted exhibitors from 29 countries, including 20 national pavilions and industry delegations. The event featured 335 exhibitors and pavilions, up from 294 last year, with 64% representing countries outside Thailand.

There were 582 titles for attendees to play at the event, with 347 coming from indie developers across the business and entertainment areas. The show attracted 720 media partners, influencers, and press.

Livestreams and digital content from the show generated nearly 34 million views across platforms.

"This was the most international show we have staged," said Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and Regional President, APAC, Koelnmesse.

"Exhibitors from 29 countries and regions came to Bangkok to sign deals, not only to show games. That tells the global industry that Southeast Asia is no longer a market to watch.
