Fortnite Players Are Using Every Trick In The Book To Get That One Piece Pirate Shop Token

The new Fortnite x One Piece crossover has introduced an exceedingly rare item that lets anyone who has it get almost everything in the item shop for free. While you can’t get anything that’s worth real money and you can’t use it to buy gifts for others, all the skins, emotes, and anything else you can buy with V-Bucks are free to Pirate Shop Token holders for two weeks. Lucky players will also have the opportunity to get even more free stuff in the future as the token allows you to redeem it for two 14-day spans—one in 2026 and another in 2027.

The fact that this super-rare, ludicrously valuable item is dropping now might indicate Fortnite is trying to shore up its defenses by giving players a damn good reason to keep playing when GTA VI punches a massive hole in the gaming calendar in a few weeks. Either way, this is something players really, really want, and they’re doing whatever it takes to get it.

Since free shop access will be granted to everyone in a party if one person finds it , IGN reports that entrepreneurs are selling their assistance for cash, offering to help players secure the token. On the less-than-TOS-compatible side of things, accounts with shop access are being sold on eBay , as well as mod tools that automate the treasure hunting. The item, like the One Piece itself , is outlandishly rare, with community guesstimates at a 1-in-700,000 drop rate, so it’ll take some big groups a lot of farming to find.
