For November, Netflix has decided to onboard around 30 Christmas movies - most of them Hallmark shlock/slop from the past five years. No shade if that's your bag, but these bastards take up a huge slice of November's pumpkin pie. There's Christmas in castles, on ranches, on ships... basically anywhere and everywhere you'd like to holiday rom-com it up a full month early.
There's also a new Ron Howard-directed documentary about photographer Richard Avedon, the first three Insidious movies, the first two Resident Evils, Air Force One, Stand By Me, Smile, Looper, Bridesmaids, and a film called The Mummy (which could be four or five different movies from cinema history, just FYI).
And while this is far from its actual streaming debut, 2026 mega-hit Obsession also lands mid-November. You know, if you're looking for a good family watch during Thanksgiving.
If you're just looking for a detailed list of everything coming to Netflix in November, you can jump to the full release schedule by day.
Before The Last Jedi and the three Knives Out mysteries, writer/director Rian Johnson gave us the sci-fi dystopian mindbender Looper, featuring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as different aged versions of the same time-traversing cold-blooded contract killer. Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels also star. High concept and a lot of fun.
This undermentioned gem from TV's Golden Era, created by Ray McKinnon, was Sundance TV's first original scripted series, starring Aden Young as Daniel, a man freed from prison after spending nearly 20 years on death row.
