'Escape' safe code location in Modern Warfare 4

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 "Escape" safe code is stumping players for two reasons. On one hand, it's possible to find the safe code way before you'll find the actual safe itself, so it's easy to think you've missed it somewhere. On the other hand, if you explore in a different direction, you could miss the safe code entirely, then find the safe without knowing how to open it.

No matter your predicament, we're here to help, with a guide explaining where to find the "Escape" safe and the code to open it in the Modern Warfare 4 campaign.

First up, the code for the safe. In this mission, you're playing as Captain Price, trying to escape from a North Korean prison. You must sneak around the corridors, avoiding guards around every corner. In the very first room you encounter, there's a note titled "confiscation protocol reminder" on the desk that explains the new safe code is in the security office.

Eventually, you'll come to a slightly wider room, with a soldier standing behind a counter. Pause for a moment, and the soldier will hear word that you've escaped. He'll run out of the room and through the double doors at the far side. As soon as he's gone, head into the room he left and read the note on the table titled "updated code" to learn that the code for the safe in "Escape" is 8410.

To find the safe itself, continue playing through the mission until you rescue Ghost from his captors.
