The Tournament of Power was the most important tournament in the Dragon Ball franchise because the fate of the multiverse was at stake. The best fighters from eight universes competed in a battle royale, and a universe would be erased if every fighter was eliminated. Curiously, there are some anime villains from other series who would have dominated if they had a chance to fight in the tournament.
Most of these anime villains are god-tier beings in their respective universes because they wield overpowered abilities. Several of these abilities would be banned in the Tournament of Power, but anime villains are not known for following the rules.
These seven shocking wins in the Dragon Ball franchise completely subverted fan expectations, with unexpected characters taking the crown.
