The complete Calvin and Hobbes book set is the ultimate collector's item for any devoted fan of the comic series and it's on sale for Amazon Prime Day. You can pick up either the hardcover edition for $99.01 or the paperback edition for $86.86. The hardcover edition is a more premium set that looks good on your shelf. The paperback books, however, are easier to actually read since the comics are divided into four smaller books instead of three bigger ones.

The Calvin and Hobbes hardcover box set consists of three full-color volumes (1,440 total pages) contained in a sturdy slipcase. The paperback set consists of four volumes for a total of 1,456 total pages. Both collections include every Calvin and Hobbes cartoon that appeared in syndication, from its initial publication in 1985 to Bill Watterson's retirement in 1995. The cartoons are illustrated in either black and white or color, depending on how they were first published.

If you've always wanted to add this timeless classic to your collection, or you want to introduce this delightful series to someone who's never had the privilege of experiencing it, I'd definitely recommend jumping on this deal.
