Digital Copies of Pikmin 4 Are Down to $40 Ahead of Switch 2 Upgrade

Ahead of the Switch 2 Edition's release on November 12, digital copies of the original Switch Pikmin 4 have dropped to $39.88 at Walmart. That saves you 34% compared to paying its full cost, which is a pretty nice deal, but what really makes it stand out is how you can use it to save on the upcoming Switch 2 release.

If you take advantage of this offer while also preordering the Switch 2 upgrade pack (which costs $9.99), this can set you up with a Switch 2 copy of the game for $49.87. That's just over $20 cheaper than paying the full cost of the new physical Switch 2 edition at $69.99, which is a real bargain if you've been hoping to grab this enhanced edition for your handheld.

The Switch 2 edition sounds like quite a nice upgrade, too. It features improved visuals, the ability to use voice commands on Oatchi through the system's microphone, Dandori Battles that you can challenge friends to via GameShare, and the new Dandori Academy.

This new mode features different exam stages that you can drop into. You can even earn in-game medals by completing them, but there will be quite a lot to get through. According to Nintendo's store page, a grand total of 72 stages will be released over time in varying difficulties, so there's plenty to keep an eye out for.

In general, we're very fond of Pikmin 4. " If you feel the same and are eager to boot it up on your Switch 2, don't miss out on this opportunity to save $20 through this Walmart deal and upgrade pack hack while it's still live.
