Crunchyroll is quite easily the most dominant anime platform all over the world. Over the last few years, it has become the most influential streaming service outside of Japan as it hosts the widest array of anime for fans to access, and its huge library of old and new series is only expanding.
During New York Comic Con 2026, Crunchyroll revealed 9 new anime they are planning to bring to their platform. This includes some more niche series like ‘Everyone's Darling Has a Secret,’ and some more established and popular manga series like ‘The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All.’ We're excited to see what else Crunchyroll has in store for us fans over the next few years.
Crunchyroll is a popular American entertainment company that was first founded in 1994. Now, over 30 years later, it has become the largest platform specialized in streaming Japanese anime series, although they also host a larger array of series that includes anime franchises from China or South Korea. Crunchyroll's current library hosts the licensing rights for hundreds of great series, and that makes it a fan favorite choice for watching anime. Some of their series are extremely mainstream and include the likes of One Piece, Demon Slayer, Solo Leveling, and My Hero Academia, among many others. Crunchyroll also streams some smaller series that a more limited number of fans might be interested in.
Either way, their collection is absolutely massive and this library is constantly growing. Now, Crunchyroll is finally bringing 9 brand-new series to grace the platform.
